Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational Investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire a Senior Tableau developer for a Long-Term opportunity.
Work Location: New York City, NYC (5 days Onsite)
W2 or Self-Incorporated only (NO THIRD PARTY RESUMES)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis, with hands-on experience using Tableau and other data tools.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting needs
β’ Translate complex data sets into clear, compelling visualizations
β’ Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability
β’ Integrate Tableau with various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, cloud platforms, Excel, etc.)
β’ Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports
β’ Document data definitions, dashboards, and reporting processes
β’ Provide end-user training and support as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar BI role
β’ Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
β’ Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
β’ Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
β’ Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google BigQuery
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (optional)
