Senior Tableau Developer

Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational Investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire a Senior Tableau developer for a Long-Term opportunity. Work Location: New York City, NYC (5 days Onsite) W2 or Self-Incorporated only (NO THIRD PARTY RESUMES) Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis, with hands-on experience using Tableau and other data tools. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting needs • Translate complex data sets into clear, compelling visualizations • Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability • Integrate Tableau with various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, cloud platforms, Excel, etc.) • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports • Document data definitions, dashboards, and reporting processes • Provide end-user training and support as needed Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar BI role • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes • Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) is a plus Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google BigQuery Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (optional)
