Join Our Client's Team as a Senior Technical SEO Consultant Are you a seasoned Technical SEO expert with over 6 years of experience, ready to make a significant impact on large-scale eCommerce platforms? Our client is seeking a driven and knowledgeable professional to join their team and tackle the complexities of Technical SEO at scale. This role is 3 month contract + possible extension. 100% remote. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract. This position has no deadline for applications. Key Responsibilities • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to enhance crawl efficiency, indexation, and organic search visibility across diverse websites and technologies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and content, to integrate SEO best practices into website architecture and product development. • Analyze extensive data sets using tools like Excel and Google Sheets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. • Develop and implement scalable strategies to improve site speed, mobile usability, schema implementation, and core web vitals. • Utilize enterprise tools and proprietary technology to monitor and resolve technical SEO issues efficiently. • Contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing by documenting processes, mentoring peers, and leading discussions on SEO innovations. • Stay informed on industry trends and algorithm updates, proactively suggesting strategic adjustments. Essential Skills and Experience • 5+ years of experience • Expertise in schema/structured data, crawling optimization, and indexing audits. • Proficiency in tools such as Lumar, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and ahrefs. • Advanced skills in MS Excel and Google Spreadsheets, with a plus for experience in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau. • Strong understanding of Google Search Console and its application in troubleshooting and data extraction. • Experience with large-scale websites and dynamic rendering from an SEO perspective. • A naturally curious and resourceful problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail. • Strong time-management skills and adaptability to handle shifting priorities. • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.
