Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Splunk Engineer to join their team. As a Splunk Engineer, you will be part of the Operational Intelligence team supporting enterprise-wide Splunk solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Splunk Engineer (Charlotte or Plano)
Location: Plano, TX/Charlotte, NC (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

What's the Job?
• Manage and optimize large-scale Splunk environments to ensure performance and reliability.
• Design, develop, and implement automation tools for CI/CD workflows using Terraform, OpenShift, Bitbucket, and other tools.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate automation solutions into the software lifecycle.
• Maintain documentation for automation processes and troubleshoot technical issues proactively.
• Drive platform upgrades, expansions, and performance enhancements using Lean Agile methodologies.
What's Needed?
• 5+ years of expert-level experience as a Splunk Architect or Engineer.
• Deep understanding of search head and indexer clustering topology.
• Hands-on experience with shell scripting, Linux/Windows system administration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Windows scripts.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
