Job Details
Key Responsibilities
β’ Database Development Design and implement SQL Server databases, including tables, indexes, stored procedures, and functions.
β’ Service Broker Configuration Set up and manage Service Broker for asynchronous messaging and distributed processing.
β’ Query Optimization Analyze execution plans and optimize queries for performance and scalability.
β’ Data Integrity & Security Apply best practices for data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
β’ ETL & Integration Develop ETL processes using SSIS or similar tools for data migration and system integration.
β’ Monitoring & Maintenance Ensure database health, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability.
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with application developers, architects, and business analysts to deliver integrated solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
β’ Hands-on experience with Service Broker for messaging and queuing.
β’ Proficiency in query tuning and performance optimization.
β’ Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization principles.
β’ Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS and data warehousing concepts.
β’ Knowledge of database security and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).
β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
β’ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ Experience in healthcare or benefits administration environments is a plus.
