We are seeking a Modern Data Platform Engineer with experience in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake to support data engineering and cloud-based data platform initiatives.
This role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and modern data architecture within financial services and asset management environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
β’ Build and support modern data platform solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
β’ Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python/PySpark.
β’ Perform ETL/ELT data processing and optimized data transformations.
β’ Work with Azure services and Azure Data Factory for cloud-based data ingestion.
β’ Implement API-based data ingestion processes.
β’ Manage and process CSV, JSON, and Parquet file formats.
β’ Work with warehouse and Lakehouse architectures.
β’ Apply data modeling and modern data architecture concepts/patterns.
β’ Implement medallion architecture for data processing workflows.
β’ Support cloud platform engineering and operational activities.
β’ Work within financial services, asset management, and investment compliance environments.
