Sr. Business Insights Analyst
Great opportunity to leverage your analytics skills with an industry-leading enterprise company!
You will leverage Atlassian Analytics to design, build, & maintain data-driven dashboards/reports to empower teams to make informed decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable insights, integrating data from Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, & external sources.
This is an initial 12-month contract (potential to extend or convert).
You must live in GA, but you can work remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop, & optimize complex SQL queries to support analytics/reporting initiatives
• Build & maintain dashboards in Atlassian Analytics, Tableau, &/or Power BI
• Translate business needs into actionable insights by integrating data across systems
• Configure & optimize reporting in Jira/Jira Align to support Agile team visibility
• Deliver reports aligned with OKRs & leadership priorities
• Partner with strategic leaders to define & track key metrics
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years in Analytics-focused roles
• Strong SQL skills (writing complex queries from scratch)
• Experience developing dashboards from scratch (Tableau or Atlassian Analytics)
• Experience with Jira or Jira Align for configuration & reporting
• Experience working with Enterprise or Corporate data
• Proven ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical team members & present demos to leadership
• Experience communicating data decisions & making recommendations to the business based on analysis - ability to explain 'what,' 'how,' and 'why'
• Understanding of OKRs: Objectives (what) & Key Results (how)
