Sr Data Engineer

Must be a local Las Vegas resident and available for on-call, weekend rotations. Successful candidates excel at and enjoy: • Requirements: • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certifications/licenses required by law or company policy. • Qualifications & Experience: • 8+ years of hands-on ETL development experience, with strong expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines. • 10+ years of experience with SQL and database development (T-SQL or equivalent). • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, BigQuery, and data replication tools/techniques. • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling. • Experience with data pipeline automation, large-scale data processing, and cloud-based storage solutions. • Familiarity with data quality, data governance, and master data management concepts. • Experience preparing data for advanced analytics and reporting. • Knowledge of big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark) and event-driven architectures a plus. • Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) preferred. • Prior experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is highly desirable. Your previous experience includes: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders of all levels. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and process orientation. • Customer service mindset with a collaborative and proactive approach. • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with availability for 24/7 on-call support as needed.
