Sr Data Scientist

Title:  Sr Data Scientist Location: Deerfield, FL (Hybrid 3/2) Duration: 6+ months Compensation: $45.00/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Sr Data Scientist • Collaborate with functional leaders to understand business problems and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions • Lead or contribute to all phases of data science projects, including problem definition, data sampling, extraction, processing, and deployment • Perform exploratory data analysis and engineer features using advanced techniques (e.g., label encoding, target encoding, time-series, polynomial interactions, binning, outlier handling) • Select features and optimize machine learning models through hyperparameter tuning • Track experiments for A/B testing and reproducibility, evaluate model performance and interpretability, and communicate results • Promote data science best practices and stay current with new developments in the field Requirements • Proficiency in Python • Experience working in Jupyter notebook format • Ability to demonstrate regression and classification knowledge in Python • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail, autonomy, creativity, and intellectual curiosity Nice to have • Experience with Microsoft Azure Our benefits package includes: • Comprehensive medical benefits • Competitive pay • 401(k) retirement plan • …and much more!
