Role description
Our client, a large media company, is looking for a Sr. Financial Data Analyst to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Lake Buena Vista. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and a self-starter, possess advanced analytical skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview:
β’ Contract Role: 18 months
β’ Pay: $55-60/hr
β’ Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Responsibilities:
β’ Partner with senior leadership to shape forecasting and financial reporting
β’ Review and analyze annual operating budgets
β’ Analyze financial data to recognize patterns and conceptualize improvement opportunities
β’ Provide recommendations for cost optimizations
β’ Discover financial and operational risks
β’ Establish process metrics and process controls
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related concentration, graduate degree is preferred
β’ 5+ years of experience working as a senior analyst
β’ 3+ years of experience analyzing financial / business processes
β’ Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
β’ SAP proficiency is required
β’ Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis
β’ Understanding of accounting principles
β’ Ability to lead change management activities
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ Strong organizational and multi-taskings skills
