Power BI Developer β Back office Solution (Sr. Systems Engineer) RATE $90.00
Scope of work:
Back office Solution is a collaborative performance management process that helps the Office of Information Technology (OIT) set goals, choose supporting actions, track progress, and use data-driven decision making to formulate informed decisions for the modernization of CMS. OITβs vision with Back office Solution is to transform how CMS does work, through collaboration with all stakeholders on a 2-week cadence to increase modernization, cost savings, and efficiency across OIT. Topics being covered during Back office Solution include Medicare FFS; Software Optimization and Efficiencies; Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM); Section 508; Artificial Intelligence; SAS; and Budget.
Primary Responsibilities:
β’ Create and Build Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to business teams.
β’ Create and Build Objective and Key Result (OKR) PowerBI dashboards for each Back office Solution topic.
β’ Assist with the transition over to Microsoft (Back office Solution is currently in the process of transitioning over to Planner, as well as using a Teams Channel)
β’ Assist with educating CMS OIT employees about PowerBI, Microsoft Planner, and Microsoft Teams Channels
Required Skills:
β’ Experience Developing and Building Power BI Capabilities, Dashboards, and Data Visualization.
β’ Previous experience with IT Data Visualization, specifically around hybrid-cloud operations and projects
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills, dealing with complex architectures, customers, and competing priorities.
β’ Ability to adapt and be productive in a dynamic environment.
β’ Agile-based knowledge and skill.
Recommended Education
β’ BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance
β’ Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
β’ All candidates supporting the CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior in order to be considered.
