Sr PowerBuilder Developer

Job Title: Sr PowerBuilder Developer Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 5+ Months Note: • ON SITE REQUIRED: 3-4 days/week Job Description : The client is seeking an experienced, senior-level PowerBuilder developer to provide analysis, support, and maintenance for the IRMS legacy system, as well as development and implementation of the GenTax–IRMS interface under the direction of Virginia Department of Taxation management. This individual will work collaboratively in a team environment. Project: Project Lighthouse backfill to maintain IRMS legacy systems and develop interfaces between GentTax and IRMS systems during the modernization period to support all four rollouts Highly Preferred Skills: • Technical knowledge in designing, developing and maintaining TAX processing and revenue management systems • Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge. Required Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Self-motivated and ability to work well in a team. • Interact with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze, assess requirements- • Work independently and collaboratively on a multi-disciplined project team in an Agile development environment. • Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation PowerBuilder Applications Skills: • Hands-on experience developing Powerbuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher • Design and develop clear and maintainable code • Team Foundation (Azure Dev Ops) Server and it's use to support version control, and application lifecycle management • Experience working with Agile/scrum project management methodologies • Able to work independently as well as in a teamwork environment • Pay attention to details and have a result driven mind set • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. Able to coordinate with other application development teams, team leads business analysts. • Hands-on experience using Relational Databases, such as Oracle 19C or highter or MySQL or similar • Design and develop clear and maintainable code • Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge (Nice to have) • Must be either US Citizen or Green Card Holder
