Sr. SAP S/4 HANA Business Analyst

Video Remote (with frequent international travel to Middle East & Africa) Multi-year program (part of a 5-year initiative) W2 or 1099 Seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst (Functional) to support a large-scale, multi-country SAP S/4HANA migration initiative. This is a business functional role, requiring close collaboration with both business stakeholders and technical S/4HANA teams. The ideal candidate will be skilled at refining and challenging business/technical requirements, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables, while also serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in logistics and warehousing processes. This position also involves creating targeted training materials and actively participating in end-user training efforts. The role is part of a long-term, global transformation program, with potential engagement for several years. Note: This role requires significant international travel (Middle East & Africa) to support country-level migrations. Key Responsibilities Work with business leaders and technical teams to gather, refine, and validate business and technical requirements for S/4HANA migrations. Challenge assumptions, facilitate alignment, and ensure agreed requirements are clearly defined and achievable. Partner with technical specialists to develop/mitigate technical requirements and align with functional expectations. Support creation of training materials and conduct training sessions for business users. Serve as a functional SME on logistics and warehousing processes in the context of global manufacturing and distribution. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices). Contribute to program governance by tracking requirements, scope, timelines, and risks. Act as a liaison between international business units and the core program team during rollouts. Required Skills & Experience 7+ years as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP environments. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects. Strong background in business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation. Experience collaborating with technical specialists to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities. Deep understanding of logistics and warehousing business processes within large-scale manufacturing. Experience in FDA-regulated environments (life sciences, medical devices, diagnostics) strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence both business and technical teams. Willingness and ability to travel internationally (Middle East & Africa).
