SRE Engineer (Azure)

Job Title: SRE Engineer (Azure) Location: Atlanta, GA / Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Position Type: Contract Job Description: Responsibilities: Help the client to establish SRE as a Practice by developing instrumentation for monitoring and logging the health and availability of services and proactively monitor systems networks and applications to provide input in improving the stability security efficiency and scalability of systems Design and build new features for infrastructure and services observability Dive into new technologies and figure out how to best monitor them Develop solution to implement the Observability requirements Write code within the monitoring solution Collaborate with other development teams quality engineering team and documentation team to execute on product deliverables Skills and Experience Requirements: Overall experience of 10 years in the IT industry Experience with Monitoring tools like Azure Monitor Dynatrace Splunk Experience in Azure Cloud Technology Platform and its infrastructure Experience as a Site Reliability Observability Engineer on Golden Signals Monitoring Logging Distributed tracing Dashboarding Alerting SLX Monitoring etc Experience in automating using tools like Azure Automation PowerShell Terraform Experience in developing As Code implementations using ARM Azure Resource Manager Experience with Log management using Azure Log Analytics Workspace and writing Kusto Query Language KQL Good to have experience in Middleware like MuleSoft and or other API platforms Good to have experience in managing a release pipeline from planning to deployment to monitoring impact Understanding of technical infrastructure delivery processes with the ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment Experience in an Agile delivery environment Experience as a hands-on software engineer so you understand the core principles of the engineering work Experience supporting customer problems and communication Experience or interest in speaking presenting at tech conferences Experience in communication and organization in large distributed teams Bachelor’s degree is required Consulting Experience is a plus If you believe you are qualified for this position and are currently in the job market or interested in making a change, please email me the resume along with contact details at roshni@nytpcorp.com
