Role description
Our client a well known Financial Services Firm is seeking a full remote Sustainable Procurement Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Partner across teams to gather, analyze, and report quarterly data on supplier greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) alignment.
β’ Utilize established methodologies (GHG Protocol, SBTi, DEFRA, ICAO) to calculate and interpret Scope 3 emissions, with a focus on purchased goods/services and business travel.
β’ Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel-based models and dashboards to support emissions tracking and reporting.
β’ Streamline analysis and reporting processes by incorporating AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
β’ Assist with supplier outreach and data collection in collaboration with procurement, sustainability, and travel teams.
β’ Prepare internal presentations and contribute to reporting for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
β’ At least 3 years of experience in procurement, sustainability, environmental data analysis, or a related field.
β’ Solid understanding of Scope 3 emissions, especially categories 1 (Purchased Goods and Services) and 6 (Business Travel).
β’ Working knowledge of GHG Protocol standards, SBTi criteria, DEFRA conversion factors, and ICAO methodologies.
β’ Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization or analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
β’ Familiarity with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot or other generative AI platforms to improve efficiency.
β’ Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Background in corporate sustainability or ESG reporting.
β’ Experience with supplier engagement tools or sustainability data platforms.
β’ Knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar.
