Role description
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
β’ Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data visualization requirements.
β’ Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all Tableau visualizations.
β’ Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
β’ Integrate data from various sources, including Google BigQuery, into Tableau.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau performance issues and implement solutions.
β’ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data visualization.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ 3+ years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL.
β’ Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services, especially BigQuery.
β’ Experience with data visualization best practices and techniques.
β’ Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
β’ Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
β’ Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
