Role description
Technical Business Analyst (Lead) — CCWIS
📍 Remote (Topeka, KS) | Contract (Start ~10/20/2025 )
Lead BA to support the State of Kansas CCWIS modernization. Serve as the liaison between DCF business units, HS-EBIT, vendors and engineering teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specs/user stories, and drive integrations, reporting, and UAT.
What you’ll do
• Lead requirements elicitation, workshops and stakeholder interviews
• Convert business needs into user stories, functional specs and acceptance criteria
• Manage interface/integration and configuration/reporting activities (non-coding)
• Support data analysis, data modeling and reporting (SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
• Create test cases, coordinate QA/UAT and support deployments
Must-have
• 4+ years as a Business Analyst (2+ years in a lead BA role)
• Hands-on with SQL and reporting tools (Power BI / Tableau)
• Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, Teams/SharePoint, Visio
• Strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preference
• Government/child-welfare experience preferred
