Technical Business Analyst

About the Role Our client is seeking a highly capable Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a high-impact AI/ML initiative. This role is focused on enhancing customer-facing chatbot functionality and ensuring seamless integration of business requirements into technical deliverables. The ideal candidate will be a technically fluent business analyst with prior experience supporting machine learning or generative AI teams. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with immediate need and long-term potential. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical documentation • Drive accountability across teams and maintain project momentum • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure feasibility and clarity of deliverables • Support the development of AI/ML-powered chatbot functionality by identifying and structuring relevant data sources • Create workflows, mockups, mapping documents, and other project artifacts • Provide regular project updates to executive leadership Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technical environments • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS Lambda • Familiarity with machine learning, AI, or generative AI concepts • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Experience with tools such as Rally, Jira, SQL, Azure DevOps, DB Visualizer, or SQL Server Management Studio • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Pega or MarkLogic • Prior experience supporting AI/ML or chatbot development teams • Background in application modernization or enterprise data integration (e.g., SAP to Azure)
