Technical Business Analyst (mobile Applications)

OVERVIEW The Business Analyst should have a solid background in mobile application projects, with a strong understanding of requirements gathering, documentation, and standards. They should be proactive, self-driven, and capable of conducting in-depth research to support project needs. Additionally, familiarity with the Agile software development process and the ability to navigate enterprise environments independently are crucial for success in this role. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Develop comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. • Work closely with development teams to communicate requirements and facilitate the implementation process. • Conduct thorough research to support decision-making and problem-solving efforts. • Maintain awareness of industry standards and best practices related to mobile application development. • Assist in defining project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. • Proactively identify and address potential issues or risks throughout the project lifecycle. • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives. • Provide ongoing support and guidance to mobile development teams as needed. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • 3-8 years of experience as a business analyst, working on software development projects in an enterprise environment. • Minimum of two years of experience working on mobile application projects, both iOS and Android. • Understanding of the Agile software development process and its various stages. • Strong proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and standards. • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to conduct research and delve into systems. • Background in financial services is highly preferred. • Self-driven with the ability to work independently. • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with developers and stakeholders effectively. • Proactive nature, able to navigate enterprise environments without constant supervision.
