Technical DevOps Engineer

Technical DevOps Engineer 12 Month Initial Contract Hybrid Work Model 3 Days On Site In Liverpool Street We are seeking an experienced Technical DevOps Engineer to focus on DevOps tools engineering and infrastructure support, including significant involvement in Azure infrastructure. Main Responsibilities: • Analyse complexity and feasibility of new or changed infrastructure and tooling requirements • Define platform requirement sizing and manage infrastructure control components within a specified architecture • Plan, evaluate, migrate, implement, configure, test, and roll out infrastructure systems (hardware, software, networks, controls) • Analyse outages and infrastructure-related defects, initiating and monitoring measures to resolve them • Install, maintain, and administer CI/CD tools and underlying infrastructure components • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design, scale, and secure systems across on-prem and cloud (Azure) environments The main experience required will be: • Strong experience with RedHat Linux and Solaris x86 Unix environments with scripting skills (Bash/Python) • Administration and installation experience with GitLab, Azure Kubernetes Service, Nexus Repository Manager, or Nexus Lifecycle (IQ) – Nexus preferred • Experience with infrastructure management, including provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance in cloud and on-prem environments • Hands-on experience in configuring and automating project builds using Maven, Gradle, etc If you would like immediate consideration, please send me an updated CV/contact details to jcaria@redglobal.com so we can discuss further or reach out to me through LinkedIn.
