Role description
DataStaff, Inc is currently seeking a Tivoli/ Control M Backend Job Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity for one of our direct clients in Richmond, VA β€’ This position is hybrid; 3 days per week are onsite Responsibilities: β€’ Conduct thorough analysis of existing job schedules (Tivoli), dependencies, and configurations. β€’ Provide ongoing support for monitoring and troubleshooting job failures and performance issues. β€’ Collaborate with the IT team to implement changes and enhancements to job schedules. β€’ Document and maintain standard operating procedures for job scheduling and monitoring. β€’ Perform periodic reviews and support audits to ensure compliance with best practices. β€’ Leverage experience in DevOps (CI/CD) and infrastructure automation, including automated pipelines, monitoring, and operations. β€’ Provide on-call support for critical issues and incidents as needed. β€’ Work with the online tax team to assist in migrating eForms and WebUpload applications to Angular and Spring boot technology. β€’ Documentation of existing job schedules, dependencies, and configurations. β€’ Recommendations for optimizing job schedules and improving overall efficiency. β€’ Standard operating procedures for job scheduling and monitoring. β€’ Incident reports and resolutions for job-related issues. β€’ Training materials for IT staff. Required Skills: β€’ 7 Years - Tivoli/Control M or similar Workload automation solution to automate the scheduling and processing of business workflows across various platforms. β€’ 7 Years - Implementing and testing new job schedules, ensuring proper documentation β€’ 7 Years - Proficiency with Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL. β€’ 7 Years - Conducting training sessions for IT staff on best practices and troubleshooting techniques β€’ 7 Years - Working experience with PowerShell, C and UNIX scripting. β€’ 7 Years - Working experience with version control tools such as GitHub / Azure DevOps β€’ 7 Years - Prior work experience and knowledge in the TAX technology environment. β€’ 7 Years - Proficiency in Object Orient analysis and design techniques. β€’ 7 Years - Working experience with Windows and Linux servers/ Environments. β€’ 7 Years - Engineer, consult and upskill other IT team members on DevOps (CI/CD) and infrastructure automation, automated CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and opera β€’ 7 Years - Establishing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities exist for all components of the platform β€’ 7 Years - Working experience with version control tools such as GitHub / Azure DevOps This opportunity is available as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
