Role: UC4/Automic Application Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator
Location: Remote(Onsite visit once in a Quarter to South Carolina)
Job Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
The Senior UC4/Automic role has four major attributes: system administration, software development leadership, people skills, and domain knowledge in enterprise class multi-tier application development projects. Candidates must display excellence in all areas.
β’ 5-7 years of UC4/Automic experience in a Linux and windows environment
β’ 5-7 years in supporting the UC4/Automic application while using Oracle and SQL as the database.
β’ 5-7 years of performing successful UC4 upgrades in Production Environments.
β’ 5-7 years programming/Scripting skills in JCL, Powershell, Perl and Java.
β’ 2+ years with Control-M and Autosys scheduling tools
β’ Understanding of IT development and implementation projects.
β’ Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to give presentations to project management. Strong proficiency in English.
β’ Impeccable integrity. Candidates must be confident with their abilities to make correct decisions and the courage to speak out when necessary.
β’ Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
β’ Experience in RedHat-based environment
β’ Experience programming with Bash
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in a technical, business, or related field. Masters degree is desirable.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
None required. UC4/Automic certification is preferred.
