UC4 Engineer/Database Administrator

Hi All, Role: UC4/Automic Application Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator Location: Remote(Onsite visit once in a Quarter to South Carolina) Job Description: REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): The Senior UC4/Automic role has four major attributes: system administration, software development leadership, people skills, and domain knowledge in enterprise class multi-tier application development projects. Candidates must display excellence in all areas. • 5-7 years of UC4/Automic experience in a Linux and windows environment • 5-7 years in supporting the UC4/Automic application while using Oracle and SQL as the database. • 5-7 years of performing successful UC4 upgrades in Production Environments. • 5-7 years programming/Scripting skills in JCL, Powershell, Perl and Java. • 2+ years with Control-M and Autosys scheduling tools • Understanding of IT development and implementation projects. • Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to give presentations to project management. Strong proficiency in English. • Impeccable integrity. Candidates must be confident with their abilities to make correct decisions and the courage to speak out when necessary. • Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis. PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • Experience in RedHat-based environment • Experience programming with Bash REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in a technical, business, or related field. Masters degree is desirable. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: None required. UC4/Automic certification is preferred.
