Vendor Master Data Specialist - Contract

Vaco has partnered in the search for a Vendor Master Data Analyst to support the Accounts Payable department for a multi-division company, based in Winston-Salem, NC. Role: Vendor Master Data Analyst - Contract ONSITE: Winston-Salem, NC - 100% onsite Contract Duration: 3-6 months Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr. Data accuracy and AP operations experience required. ERP familiarity preferred but not required. • Maintain accurate and compliant vendor master data across multiple business entities • Enter, update, and validate vendor records in the ERP system • Coordinate with internal teams (AP, Procurement, Accounting, Operations) to approve vendor changes • Ensure proper documentation is collected and retained (W-9/W-8 forms, tax forms, banking info) • Support data governance initiatives and vendor file audits • Assist with system uploads, data reconciliation, and cross-system data validation • Partner with IT, Finance, and Operations on data-related projects, migrations, or improvements • Support AP operations by resolving vendor data issues that may impact payments Requirements: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred • 3+ years of experience managing data or financial analysis • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Alteryx a plus • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management abilities • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Nice to Have: • Experience with multiple ERP systems (SAP, D365, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Comsense) • Experience supporting transformative initiatives in systems, processes, or technology • Prior exposure to Accounts Payable, Credit Administration, or Accounts Receivable If you're ready to start 2026 contributing to critical AP operations and data integrity, apply now.
