VTEX Developer (Remote – US) About Us: We are a fast-growing e-commerce business committed to delivering best-in-class digital experiences for our customers. As we scale our operations, we're investing in VTEX as our e-commerce platform of choice — and we're looking for a passionate, skilled developer to help bring our vision to life. Role Overview: We’re looking for a VTEX Developer (or experienced e-commerce developer eager to learn VTEX) to support and lead customizations, integrations, and feature development across our storefronts using the VTEX IO framework. Responsibilities: • Design, build, and maintain VTEX storefronts and backend applications using VTEX IO and React. • Work closely with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to implement and optimize user experiences. • Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, ERP, CRM, etc.) into the VTEX platform. • Collaborate with QA to ensure high code quality and performance. • Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvements post-launch. • Stay up to date with VTEX product changes, documentation, and best practices. Qualifications: Must-Have: • 2+ years of experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce, BigCommerce). • Solid knowledge of JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS. • Experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs. • Comfort working in Git-based workflows and Agile teams. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team. Nice-to-Have (or Willing to Learn): • Prior experience with VTEX IO, VTEX CMS, or VTEX Admin Console. • Experience with order management systems or ERP integrations. • Familiarity with VTEX APIs, schema development, or VTEX app deployment. • Portuguese or Spanish fluency (for LATAM collaboration).
