Title: Senior Workato Developer Location: Remote (Canada/US) Employment Type: Contractual Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Workato Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations and automation workflows across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Workato platform, strong API integration skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop integrations using the Workato platform (“recipes”) • Build and maintain automated workflows across systems such as CRM, ERP, HRMS, and third-party applications • Work with REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations and data exchange • Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing workflows and integrations • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements • Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance • Document integration processes, workflows, and technical designs Required Skills & Qualifications: • Hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS tools • Strong understanding of API integrations (REST/SOAP) • Experience with JSON, XML, and data transformation • Knowledge of webhooks, triggers, and event-driven architecture • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Workday) • Basic scripting or programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python is a plus) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: • Workato certification (preferred but not mandatory) • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP) • Understanding of ETL processes and middleware tools • Prior experience in integration-heavy environments
