Responsibilities
A client with Kforce is seeking a WebFOCUS Administration resource to join their team. This is a remote opportunity. General Duties & Responsibilities:
β’ Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs
β’ Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
β’ Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements
β’ Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
β’ Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies
β’ Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
β’ Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application
β’ May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and results
β’ May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences
β’ Administer and support WebFOCUS platform including scalability, security, availability performance, and reliability of the platform
β’ Automate operation, installation, and monitoring of the WebFOCUS platform on cloud and on-premises data centers
β’ Manage and resolve critical support issues with a high degree of technical complexity
β’ Measure and monitor service and support performance and health (SLAs, KPIs, etc.)
β’ Plan and implement upgrades of tools and design system enhancements with emerging features
Requirements
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
β’ Knowledge of financial services industry
β’ Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
β’ Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
β’ Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business
β’ In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application
β’ Fluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
β’ Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
β’ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
β’ Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
β’ Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
β’ Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
