Windchill Subject Matter Expert (SME)

We are looking for an Windchill Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on a W2 basis for a Remote – Contract-to-Hire position. Visa: US Citizen only Job Description: Key Responsibilities • Integration Support: Collaborate with architects and data engineers to design and validate secure integrations between Windchill and Palantir via Snowflake. • Data Mapping & Extraction: Define and oversee extraction of engineering data, drawings, and requirements from Windchill for ingestion into Snowflake. • Format Conversion: Ensure accurate conversion of Windchill documents (e.g., CAD drawings, PDFs) for downstream consumption. • Quality Logic Design: Contribute to modular workflows for quality documentation interrogation and NCR disposition. • Workshops & Training: Participate in design workshops, Show & Tell sessions, and provide clarifications on Windchill processes. • Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to ITAR/EAR and other compliance requirements during document movement and indexing. • Testing & Validation: Support SIT/UAT phases by validating data integrity and process flows involving Windchill. • Documentation: Provide detailed process documentation and assist in knowledge transfer for steady-state operations. Required Skills & Experience • Windchill Expertise: Deep knowledge of Windchill PLM system, including data models, workflows, and document management. • Integration Knowledge: Experience integrating Windchill with external platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Palantir) using ETL or API-based approaches. • Engineering Data Handling: Familiarity with CAD drawings, BOMs, and requirements documents within Windchill. • Compliance Awareness: Understanding of ITAR/EAR and secure data handling practices. • Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, Quality) and participate in workshops. Nice-to-Have • Exposure to AI/ML-driven workflows or LLM enablement for document interrogation. • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Snowflake pipelines. • Understanding of NCR processes and quality management systems.
