WMS Consultant with Programming Experience

Minimum 10–12 years of hands-on development and consulting experience
Job Summary:
• We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Management System (WMS) Consultant with a strong programming background. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in object-oriented server-side programming, a strong grasp of Agile methodologies, and a proven track record of solving complex technical challenges. Experience with WMS platforms and Progress OpenEdge technologies is a significant plus.
Technical Skills Required:
• Proficient in server-side programming (Java, Python, or other OOP languages)
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS principles
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (nice to have)
• Experience with any WMS system (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Infor, etc.) is preferred
• Familiarity with Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL, OpenEdge RDBMS, Progress AppServer (preferred but not mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Postman or similar tools for REST API testing
• Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies
