Contingent Contract Award
On-site at NGA Facilities in the Washington Metro Area - Springfield, VA, Ft. Belvoir, VA, Chantilly, VA
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Provides Timely, Relevant, And Accurate Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) In Support Of National Security To The National System For Geospatial Intelligence (NSG). This Role Supports Developing And Implementing The Agencyβs Procurement Policy And Ensuring Effective And Responsible Contracting Throughout NGA. Functions And Responsibilities Include Expert Assistance In:
β’ Developing and implementing NGA acquisition policies utilizing Department of Defense (DoD) contracting authority.
β’ Advising NGA stakeholders to ensure effective and responsible contracting by providing cradle to grave contracting support.
β’ Serving as acquisition business advisors to OCS senior leadership, contracting officers (COs)/specialists, program managers (PMs) and other stakeholders.
β’ Crafting efficient and effective acquisition strategies in partnership with NGA offices.
Responsibilities
β’ Maintain the OCS informational web-based tool set that provides information and
β’ knowledge-sharing in support of NGAβs acquisition and contracting workforce on both the SBU and NGAnet.
β’ Maintain and develop OCSβs Sharepoint Site.
β’ Create a multitude of different Contract Dashboards utilizing Tableau and other leading display software. Create single repository solutions for areas such as: Government Purchase Card (GPC), COR Program, OCS Training, etc.
β’ Provide business analytics for NGA contracting activities using internal NGA data. Develop products and/or visuals to communicate the results to senior management.
β’ Collect, process and perform statistical analyses on large datasets.
β’ Provide suggestions on how data can be used to answer questions and streamline
β’ processes.
Requirements
β’ Experience working with structured and unstructured data to provide insights and/or convey meaning.
β’ Experience designing and developing data visualizations of the data to convey results for senior decisions with minimal explanation.
β’ Experience in strategic level corporate/governmental analysis and demonstrated analytic techniques to solve operation-based problems.
β’ Experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Plotly etc.)
β’ Experience using and manipulating APIs
β’ Experience with programming languages such as SQL, R and/or Python to condition, interrogate, and display data.
β’ Basic knowledge of database principles.
β’ Proven experience creating and updating Dashboards and Data Sources.
