Pay: 60hr
We are seeking a technically proficient and detail-oriented AI Engineer to support the implementation, testing, and integration of artificial intelligence features within a secure, cloud-based enterprise environment. This role is critical to embedding AI capabilities into existing systems, enhancing automation, decision support, and operational intelligence across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services, test automation, and secure cloud deployments, particularly within FedRAMP-compliant environments. A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering scalable, high-quality solutions are essential.
Responsibilities
AI Feature Implementation Support
Assist in deploying AI/ML models and algorithms into production environments using AWS-native services (e.g., SageMaker, Lambda, Bedrock, Comprehend).
Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to operationalize prototypes into scalable, secure components.
Support the development of AI features such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, intelligent recommendations, and natural language interfaces.
Ensure AI modules meet performance, security, and compliance standards, including FedRAMP requirements.
1. Testing and Validation
Design and execute comprehensive test plans for AI components, including unit, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Develop automated testing frameworks to validate model accuracy, reliability, and robustness.
Monitor AI feature behavior in staging and production environments, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Document test results, bug reports, and improvement recommendations.
1. Cloud Integration and Automation
Integrate AI features into cloud-based workflows, data pipelines, and APIs using AWS services.
Ensure seamless data exchange between AI modules and enterprise systems, optimizing for performance and scalability.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to support automated deployments and testing.
Maintain version control and configuration management for AI-integrated components.
Experience Requirements
2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with hands-on experience in model deployment and system integration.
Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with AWS AI/ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Comprehend, Rekognition, Bedrock).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise software integration.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., PyTest, Selenium, JUnit).
General experience with Java for backend or integration tasks.
Understanding of FedRAMP compliance and secure cloud deployment practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
Knowledge of government contracting environments and audit/compliance standards.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Education Requirements
2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with hands-on experience in model deployment and system integration.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
