Role description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS. You will be instrumental in shaping our data architecture and driving data solutions that empower analytics, data science, and business decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust data availability, quality, and performance. Required skills & experience: More than 10 years of relevant experience. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Extensive experience with AWS Console, AWS CLI, AWS S3, and other core AWS services. Understanding of the functioning and interrelationship of different AWS services. Strong understanding of AWS usage, including setting up S3 folders, using CLI commands, and troubleshooting errors. Ability to interpret new command components and define inputs (e.g., environment credentials, input file locations). Proficiency in AWS CLI and applying software documentation to the tech stack. Ability to perform UAT proactively and asynchronously, troubleshoot errors, and report findings in testing meetings. Capability to apply learnings from past UATs to future UATs. Experience interpreting software documentation from a tokenization vendor and writing/editing code based on generic documentation. Knowledge and experience using ECS/Putty to access, read/write, and download files from AWS S3. Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to stakeholders with varying technical expertise. Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
