Role: Solution Architect – Azure Work Location: Merrillville, Indiana, United States (Onsite Role) Client: into Building Intelligent, Cloud-Native AI Solutions Type of Employment: 1099 Contract Work Authorization: EAD, US Citizen, Green Card (GC) holders only eligible to apply for this position Expectation from the client: • Candidate Should have worked on Microsoft technologies in data projects. • Other skills: data engineering, data management, analytics, visualization, RPA, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Server, Azure Databricks • Proven experience in solution architecture and system design. • Expertise in ETL processes and data transformations using SQL, SSIS, Azure Data • Factory, and Fabric Data Pipelines. • Strong SQL skills, including hands-on experience with stored procedures. • Experience with Power Platform. • Knowledge of Power BI and Tableau reporting tools. Key Responsibilities: • Perform a hybrid role encompassing Solution Architecture, Business Analysis, and Team Leadership. • Lead and manage engagements through transition, Business-as-Usual (BAU), and Microsoft Fabric migration phases. • Collaborate with client business users, IT teams and other stakeholders to understand needs and requirements, build and maintain trust and client relationship. • Act as the primary point of contact for both client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams. • Design and implement optimal architecture tailored to specific client scenarios. • Design robust data storage solutions using the Microsoft Fabric framework. • Identify and implement the most suitable data ingestion methods (via Fabric Data Pipelines, Notebooks, or Dataflows Gen2). • Define and apply best practices in administration, security, and governance within Microsoft Fabric. • Design and implement DevOps processes for efficient deployment and CI/CD automation. • Translate user requirements into actionable technical tasks and ensure clarity in team communication. • Proactively identify project risks and maintain continuous communication to mitigate blockers. • Foster a collaborative team environment and strong working dynamics. ✅ Key Skills & Experience Required: • 8+ years in solution architecture or senior technical roles (with at least 4+ years on Azure) If this sounds like the kind of opportunity you’ve been looking for, feel free to share your updated resume at gunjan.t@makonissoft.com.
