Job Title: Bioinformatics Analyst
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Overall Experience: 5 to 6 Yrs
Primary Skills:
• Proficiency in R and Python programming, with experience in the Pharma and Life Sciences industry.
• Strong background in statistical analysis, with familiarity in bioinformatics/genomics tools and databases (preferred).
• Extensive experience in data modeling for analytical applications.
• Mandatory skills:
• Experience with R, Python, Cloud computing services (AWS) and analytics/visualization software (Spotfire) is preferred.
• Master’s or higher degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science or a related discipline
• 5 + years’ experience in managing team with at least 3~4 bioinformatics programmers
• Expert programmer in at least one language, with experience working in production environments. We have a strong preference for R, Python, and Java
• Extensive experience with data modeling for analytical applications
• Strong in Unix shell/Perl scripting
