OVERVIEW
At Orion, we are seeking a Test/QA Process Analyst to assess and improve current QA practices and non-production environment standards for a healthcare enterprise. This opportunity focuses on process improvement, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance quality assurance operations.
PROJECT
6-month contract-to-hire; Fully Remote (U.S. – Central Time Zone)
SALARY (W2)
$100,000 – $115,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Assessment & Improvement:
• Evaluate current QA practices and non-prod environment configurations.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to standards, templates, and controls.
Strategy & Metrics:
• Support development of QA tooling and automation strategies.
• Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and other quality metrics.
Testing Execution:
• Execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
• Test system modifications and document software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Monitor bug resolution and maintain defect databases.
Collaboration:
• Work with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in planning test schedules and strategies aligned with project timelines.
KEY EXPERIENCE
• 3–4 years of experience in software testing, QA processes, and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with QA tools and automation frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or development tools (e.g., Visual Basic, JavaScript, Linux).
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across technical and administrative domains.
• Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
