Power Platform Developer Location: Remote Contract-to-hire Our client, a global leader in technology-enabled claims and risk management solutions, is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer for a remote contract opportunity. This role offers the potential for extension and/or full-time conversion. You will play a pivotal role in evaluating and modernizing existing low-code/no-code tools while designing scalable, secure, enterprise-grade applications and workflows using Microsoft’s Power Platform. What you’ll do: Design & build apps • Design and develop robust Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps • Build enterprise-grade mobile and web solutions • Leverage and create custom connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate (Flow) Modernize legacy systems • Re-engineer and optimize legacy applications using Power Platform • Evaluate existing internal tools and develop high-impact solutions tailored to business needs Data & security • Model and integrate data across MySQL, SQL Server, and other sources. • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities within Power Apps solutions. Analytics integration • Embed Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights. • Support claims-related data reporting and visualization initiatives Testing & delivery • Own unit and integration testing • Ensure timely, quality delivery of solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements Collaboration & communication • Present designs, status, and risks to stakeholders, team leads, and cross functional partners in IT operations and information security • Work closely with distributed teams and internal SMEs to align technical deliverables with operational goals Platform stewardship • Guide the team on licensing models, feature sets, and best practices across the Power Platform community.
