Position Overview: Term: 6 months Location: Remote Pay: $50.00 - $60.00, commensurate with experience Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST In this role, you will be a Product Owner and work in Agile Scrum space and drive experiences. This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position, and the duties and responsibilities may change without notice. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, gather requirements, and translate them into clear technical product capabilities • Own and manage the product backlog; prioritize features, technical improvements, and bugs based on value, risk, and effort. • Work closely with engineering teams to refine stories, clarify requirements, and ensure successful and timely delivery. • Ensure alignment with architecture and development, testing, infrastructure support, security, and compliance standards. • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives to support Agile delivery processes. • Support efforts around adoption of new features by communicating value to stakeholders and supporting change management activities in agile delivery process. • Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform continuous improvement and iteration. What you will bring to the team: • 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a technical environment. • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. • Experience working with development teams on data platforms, APIs, Microservices or other composable architecture, infrastructure, or enterprise applications. • Familiarity with data governance concepts, technical architecture, or cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. • Proven ability to make trade-offs and prioritize effectively in complex technical environments. • [Optional] Certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM, or similar. • Background in software engineering, data engineering, or systems architecture. • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Aha! • Knowledge of data privacy, security frameworks, or compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC) • Education: BA degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science • PMP/PMPO Certification preferred Zones offers a comprehensive Benefits package While we’re committed to providing top-tier solutions, we’re just as committed to supporting our own team.
