Business Analyst with Payments

Role : Business Analyst Location: O'Fallon, MO 63368 ( Any PSL Location with flexibility to travel to client location for meetings) Experience: 9+ years Engagement Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business, functional, and data requirements. • Document current-state business processes, data flows, and pain points • Define future-state business processes and data usage scenarios aligned with modernization goals. • Collaborate with architects and data teams to translate business needs into technical specifications. • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices for data migration and platform features. • Ensure alignment with client’s regulatory, compliance, and operational standards. Required Skills & Experience: • 12+ years as a Business Analyst in the Payments or Financial Services domain. • Experience working on data-centric projects including data migration, analytics, and platform modernization. • Strong understanding of payment processing flows, transaction data, and reconciliation processes. • Ability to interpret legacy data formats and work with technical teams on data mapping and transformation. • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and data profiling tools. • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills. • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, AML) is a plus.
