Role description
Payrate: $49.00 - $53.00/hr.
Summary:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Tableau Developer is an experienced data professional who designs, develops, and implements analytics tools and data solutions. This individual comprehensively understands business data needs, gathers requirements, analyzes data, and develops robust analytics solutions for advanced projects, self-service analytics, and business user consumption.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, Develop, maintain, and complex dashboards in Tableau.
β’ Create, prototype, modify, test, and deploy reports to production while working closely with the end users
β’ Build data models for optimized Tableau Reporting
β’ Build complex Alteryx workflows combining multiple data sources and build transformations for building Tableau datasets.
β’ Design, Develop, maintain, and optimize Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending, and analysis.
β’ Design and Implement data validation and cleansing architecture to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
β’ Understand data needs and translate user requirements into technical requirements
β’ Analyze requests for data needs and prioritize project and ad-hoc efforts
β’ Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
β’ Work with stakeholders, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Required Skills:
β’ 6-8 years of experience building sophisticated and elegant dashboards in Tableau.
β’ 4-6 years of experience designing and building complex transformations in the latest versions of Alteryx
β’ Expert experience working with relational database management systems, cubes, and cloud solutions (AWS Athena, MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL), including building complex queries and designing and using data sources and application program interfaces (API).
β’ Expert in writing highly complex SQL.
β’ Experience in latest Tableau AI features including Einstein and Pulse.
β’ Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and reporting skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
β’ Proven ability to lead discussions with internal and external customers to build and formulate data requirements for business use cases.
β’ Ability to conduct peer design and code reviews and evaluate the quality of deliverables.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
β’ Ability to iterate with quick turn-around in a highly demanding and agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Work with a sense of Urgency: Moves with and enables changing trends and new technologies and creates new approaches to capitalize on them.
β’ Collaborate with and influence peers in developing in industry-leading technologies.
β’ Experience with Power-BI and similar reporting and visualization tools.
β’ Knowledge of and experience with data management, data warehouse/data modeling, business intelligence, trends, and best practices.
β’ Experience with advanced analytics such as embedded analytics, data science, and/or ML (Machine Learning) are desirable.
β’ Experience with Python and integration of ML Models and AI Libraries
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $49.00 - $53.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
