About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join a dynamic Data Analytics team. This role is focused on developing, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality reports and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to meet business needs.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of BI development, from collaborating with business owners and subject matter experts to clarify requirements, to building visualizations and ensuring data quality before release. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise and effective communication.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
Review requirement documents and create compelling visual displays of data.
Collaborate with business owners and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and complete user acceptance testing.
Create documentation to support the repeatability of annual system upgrades.
Analyze and interpret business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Perform unit, system, and performance testing on all deliverables.
Provide regular status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; may be substituted with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Solid grasp of Data Warehousing principles, concepts, and architecture.
Excellent creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project delivery dates.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of users and teammates.
Preferred Qualifications:
K–12 education experience.
