Qualifications
Education:
β’ BA/BS required, preferably in a field related to Change Management and/or Communications, Finance, or Business
β’ Graduate degree preferred
Experience and Skills (Required):
β’ Minimum of 8 years of change management and communications experience within a large-scale, transformational business environment
β’ Experience in listening and understanding the voice of the customer, and translating that into actionable communications and change tactics
β’ Thorough understanding of change delivery methodologies and tools
β’ Experience performing business readiness activities, including stakeholder management and communication planning and delivery, preferably for a Finance function
β’ Excellent at building strong relationships with peers and stakeholders to influence others and move toward a common vision
β’ High-level understanding of large-scale transformation initiatives and finance systems, specifically how the adoption of such may affect employees at all levels
β’ Strong writing and oral communication skills, with comfort presenting to audiences of varying stakeholders
β’ Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with flexibility and adaptability
β’ Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively with and through others
Travel/Home Base:
β’ US-based, with up to 10% domestic and international travel
Job Description:
The Change & Communications Consultant will join the Change, Communications, & Training (CCT) Team and is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the change management and communications strategies for the Finance Reporting Portfolio. This includes SAP Cloud Analytics (SCA) dashboard deployments and upcoming initiatives related to reporting security enhancements and the transition to Legal Entity (LE) reporting from Management Reporting Companies (MRCs). This reporting initiative is part of Client s Global Finance Transformation.
This role works directly with the FS&T Change & Communications Reporting Project Lead, Regional Leads, and the Business Unit Finance and Treasury Teams. It is critical in supporting alignment with the overarching change management strategy and plan for the reporting portfolio of a global multi-year transformation journey for Finance and the Client s Enterprise.
The primary focus will be to support the implementation and ongoing employee engagement of the Finance Reporting dashboards through deployment cycles. This individual will engage closely with key stakeholders to execute the change strategy for reporting by crafting communications for reporting dashboard deployments, supporting stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments, and providing inputs to areas of improvement in change and communications methodologies to ensure maximum user adoption.
To be successful, this team member will model best practices in change leadership and project communications, with the ability to understand the voice of the customer and translate needs into concise and meaningful communications and change activities. Must be able to influence and build trust among key stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Understand, identify, and document stakeholder assessments and change impacts for the reporting portfolio
β’ Engage with and understand critical stakeholder needs to build and support execution of impactful stakeholder engagement and resistance management plans
β’ Execute change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement plans and activities for each reporting dashboard deployment
β’ Synthesize complex information and create clear and compelling communications artifacts, including visually appealing materials using PowerPoint, etc.
β’ Partner closely with the Training Team to align and execute engagement tactics, learning sessions, or readiness tactics that support organizational readiness for change
β’ Work closely with the FS&T Change & Communications Project Lead, Regional CCT Leads, and deployment teams to ensure consistency of messaging and content related to reporting and SCA dashboards
β’ Support FS&T Change & Communications lead in the identification and measurement of change management and communications tactics, and adapt approaches based on lessons learned
