Role description
Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a CPU Core Documentation Engineer to join their team. As a CPU Core Documentation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting CPU and SOC teams. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for automation and continuous learning, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CPU Core Documentation Engineer Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) What's the Job? • Take end-to-end ownership for the delivery of technical documentation related to CPU cores. • Create, edit, and drive legal and technical reviews for various documentation such as errata, data-books, white papers, application notes, and processor programming references. • Publish technical content via revision control systems, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance. • Proactively gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure documentation meets customer requirements and industry standards. • Collaborate with CPU design teams to develop and maintain design files for documentation input. What's Needed? • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and OpenOffice software. • Experience automating tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby. • Knowledge of structured documentation formats like XML and ODT. • Understanding of Revision Control Systems such as GIT, Perforce, or Subversion. • Strong motivation to find solutions and a willingness to learn new skills to meet job requirements.
