A large financial enterprise in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Crypto Engineer to join their Cloud Security Team. This role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to the crypto ecosystem, building interactive dashboards and visualizations, tracking key metrics, and collaborating with various teams to identify and resolve data-related issues in the cryptography space. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cryptographic solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cryptographic algorithms, data protection and key management. Some responsibilities will include but are not limited to: ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, key generation, distribution and storage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into various applications and systems. This is a multi cloud environment, but working heavily with AWS and GCP (their Proof of Concept was just moved from EKS to GKE)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-4+ years of Cryptography experience, specifically focused in data protection and key management. -Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and protocols. -Familiar with data protection regulations and standards (GDPR, CCPA, NIST, ISO, etc) -Exposure and understanding to public cloud and its' service offerings (AWS, GCP or Azure)

The acquired companies are already managing their production and using cloud provider services, so no specific tools are required. The candidate must have a strong understanding of data handling and protection in the cloud, utilizing various cryptographic methods such as tokenization. Cloud providers offer their own cryptographic solutions and key management services, which are essential for protecting and transferring keys between on-premises and cloud environments. Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is crucial for moving and using keys for data protection. While no specific tools are mandated, all tools must adhere to cryptographic concepts, including PKI.
