Pay Rate: $50.00/hour on W2 Work Type: Onsite - Syracuse, NY 13202 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Duration: 12-month contract (with possible extension) Job Overview: The Data Analyst III will support the Operational Telecom Program within the Grid Modernization Department. Responsibilities include collecting, evaluating, and reporting data to drive decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection & Cleaning – Ensure data accuracy and readiness for analysis. Data Analysis – Apply statistical methods to identify trends and insights. Reporting – Create actionable reports and dashboards for stakeholders. Data Visualization – Use tools like Tableau or Power BI to present complex data. Collaboration – Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals. Quality Assurance – Maintain data integrity and recommend process improvements. Stakeholder Engagement – Communicate findings clearly and effectively. User Acceptance Testing – Validate data solutions meet requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. OR Associate’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in project management techniques. Familiarity with the utility industry. Proficiency in Excel, Word, SAP, PowerPlan, Cascade, and query tools like Business Objects. Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and verify large datasets. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
