Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Operations Analyst to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position where you will play a pivotal role in analyzing performance data, developing dashboards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business intelligence tools and a proven ability to manage data quality and reporting initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Lead the creation and management of Power BI dashboards to deliver data insights and support operational improvements.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancing business processes.
• Coordinate the development of performance metrics and collaborate with division managers to ensure data-driven decision-making.
• Conduct research and provide strategic recommendations to support long-term departmental goals.
• Oversee records management and ensure compliance with relevant statutes and policies.
• Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure transparency and accessibility of departmental information.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documents for stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Manage special projects and departmental initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate innovation and continuous process improvement.
• Evaluate policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, consistency, and adherence to administrative guidelines.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Technology, or a related field, or six years of relevant experience as a substitute.
• Minimum of five years of experience in data analysis, business operations, or project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, PowerDMS, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to learn new software systems.
• Knowledge of financial processes, business planning, and budget development.
• Familiarity with research techniques, data collection methods, and best practices in analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in ensuring data quality and conducting quality assurance.
• Certifications in Green Belt Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
