Role description
Job Summary Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team! This position is located in San Francisco, California. Duties β€’ Perform deep-dive analyses into web and agentic user behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization β€’ Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for cross-functional teams and executives β€’ Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure high data quality, accurate tracking, and consistent metrics β€’ Build and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs that serve marketing, growth, and executive audiences β€’ Lead automation of recurring reports and contribute to scalable reporting solutions β€’ Ensure data quality and consistency in pipelines feeding our marketing data warehouse β€’ Coordinate and track projects across data ingestion, analytics, and reporting workstreams β€’ Serve as the point of contact for stakeholder needs, helping prioritize requests and align work with business objectives β€’ Drive cross-functional communication and alignment through regular updates, documentation, and presentations β€’ Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and GTM to define priorities and roadmap β€’ Own the definition of user stories and acceptance criteria informed by the product roadmap β€’ Provide review and testing for work completed by the engineering team β€’ Work closely with scrum lead to ensure engineering team is well-informed of new work and enabled to succeed β€’ Act as a thought partner within the team and with key partners across Marketing, Product and Engineering β€’ Interface with executive leadership on a regular and ad hoc basis β€’ Serve as a subject matter expert on web and agentic analytics, enabling data literacy and adoption across teams Desired Skills/Experience: β€’ 7+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or related roles, ideally in marketing or product analytics β€’ Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data warehouses β€’ Familiarity with web analytics tools and event-based tracking frameworks β€’ Experience with data visualization tools β€’ Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize across multiple stakeholders, ideally within Agile frameworks and tools β€’ Excellent communication and storytelling skills β€’ Able to turn data into strategy and insight into action β€’ Experience working with AI/agentic interfaces or conversational data analytics Benefits: β€’ Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans β€’ Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) β€’ 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $69.00 and $89.00.
