Job Title: Data Analyst (SQL/Data Mining) (Analyst, IS Business Support) Location: Remote (Must be available to work EST hours) Contract Duration: 12 months Start Date: ASAP Pay rate- $39 per hour Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst with strong SQL data mining and scripting skills to support fast-paced analytics and data validation initiatives within IQM. This role requires hands-on experience with large datasets, data ingestion processes, and basic front-end DAX support. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, show initiative, and thrive in a dynamic, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation, mining, and reporting. • Work closely with Azure Data Factory pipelines to ingest data from SharePoint to SQL Server. • Provide backup support using Python scripts for ingestion tasks when necessary. • Assist front-end developers by writing and optimizing DAX queries for Power BI dashboards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical leads and front-end developers, to ensure accurate and efficient data flow. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for data integrity issues. • Work with SAP data structures when needed to support broader team objectives. Required Technical Skills: • SQL Data Mining: Strong ability to extract and analyze data from large, complex datasets. • SQL Scripting: Deep understanding of joins, subqueries, window functions, stored procedures, etc. • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Working knowledge to assist in Power BI dashboard logic when needed. • Python (Nice to Have): Used occasionally for backup data ingestion processes. • Minimum 3 years of hands-on SQL • Bachelor's OR Master’s degree in Analytics Preferred Qualifications: • Completed coursework or certifications in SQL. • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharma, finance) is a plus. • Familiarity with SAP data structures is beneficial but not mandatory.
