Day-to-Day Responsibilities: ● Conduct testing of programs or databases, identify and correct errors, and implement necessary modifications. ● Update and modify existing databases and database management systems, or oversee programmers and analysts in making these changes. ● Develop and code both logical and physical database schemas, specifying database identifiers for the management system, or guide others in this coding process. ● Collaborate within project teams to coordinate database development efforts and define project scope and constraints. ● Evaluate project requests that outline database user requirements to estimate the time and cost needed to complete the project.
