Our client is seeking a Data Science Engineer to join their team. As a Data Science Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting high-performance computing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Science Engineer Location: Austin, TX What's the Job? • Implement automation and data strategy with validation technical leads and data architects to reduce time to market and time to quality. • Develop Python automation scripts for performance metrics data collection and characterization. • Deliver robust data analytics solutions for visualization, results reporting, and building predictive statistical models. • Develop database solutions to support storage and analysis of test results from validation and manufacturing. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reliability. What's Needed? • 4 to 5 years experience in developing test automation solutions as an Automation Engineer. • Experience in developing high-availability, low-latency enterprise solutions as a Data Science/Engineering subject matter expert. • Knowledge of data modelling and data warehouse/lake best practices (SQL, Snowflake). • Experience with data analytics, visualizations, and report generation (PowerBI, JMP). • Experience writing performant code in Python, Java, Scala and good experience with Spark.
