The position requires a strong foundation in Big Data with knowledge of Python and SQL query language. The primary focus involves the migration of data landing and transformation jobs from Teradata to Big Query leveraging Airflow / Astronomer. The data engineer will work closely with IT Team Members and Business Owners to understand various business processes and apply this knowledge to design and implement solutions. Job Requirements Details: Skills Required: Python SQL Skills Preferred: Strong Analytical skills Experience Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Experience with Big Query . Experience with Airflow / Astronomer Experience Required: • 3+ years' experience with ETL pipeline development • 3+ years' experience RDBMS . • Ability to lead and mentor associate engineers • Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts • 3+ years' experience of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Science, Computer Engineering or similar programs • Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
