Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Data Classification & Protection Engineer with hands-on experience in Veritas Data Insight and Microsoft 365 Purview. You'll be responsible for managing data classification tools, creating policies, reports, and labels to ensure data is properly tagged and protected across platforms.
Key Skills:
• 3–5 yrs of Veritas Data Insight (policy/report creation, DQL)
• 1–3 yrs hands-on with Microsoft Purview (Sensitivity Labels, Compliance Center, Entra ID, CoPilot)
• Experience with data classification policies, compliance, and data tagging
• Bonus: SailPoint, CoPilot, FDA-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer Veritas and Microsoft 365 Purview for data classification and security
• Create reports, tags, and policies to support data governance
• Support the adoption of classification policies across business units
• Assist with the implementation of SailPoint Data Access Security
• Collaborate cross-functionally and deliver actionable insights to leadership
