Position: Data Scientist
Location: Richmond, VA (onsite),In Person Interview.
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
Analyze procurement data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Communicate findings to business and IT leaders to support decision-making.
Lead data mining, algorithm development, and build data pipelines for procurement analytics.
Design and maintain complex data processes and large datasets.
Apply machine learning and predictive analytics to procurement data.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics requirements and improve procurement strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
3–6 years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in procurement.
Proficient in SQL, Python, PySpark, Shell Scripting, PowerShell.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and big data platforms (Spark, Hive, Azure Data Lake).
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and databases (Snowflake, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
Strong communication skills and business acumen in procurement.
Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
